Nudes

The people in my pictures aren’t the emblematic nudes you often encounter in paintings. They are protagonists in events, stories, & dreams. Their lack of attire is really a preference for skin on my part and an insistence on theirs. They’ve got stuff to do and they mean to do it naked. I can’t really argue with them. When I’ve tried I’ve had to scrape and repaint.
