The Way Things Dance

My brain works with movement. It is a physical brain, one that thinks in terms of muscular contraction and spatial change. It is the magic language. Thus my paintings are never static. Things are always going on, even in the “still” lives. I usually work standing up, and often when there is music on I dance in between sessions of paint application. There is always some sort of choreography happening. Dancing is the norm of nature, of the gleanings of my glance. And those are fine-tuned tossed onto the canvas.
