Description

This painting was inspired by the Seamus Heaney poem: The Perch, although I have a trout in my picture. It’s also a self portrait (yes, I’m a Pisces). Here is this aquatic being floating between riverbed and surface surrounded by the fractal light of sun through water, skimming over the river rock jewels. Everywhere you look is a delight to the eyes. The material world forever fascinates me because where ever I put my gaze is a perfect painting. And there is nothing better than light through moving water.
